Mmmm, cake!

Tonight I went to my own first birthday party. Growing up and having birthday parties takes lots of work. There are many things a birthday girl has to do. There are lots of pictures to take with lots of people. You have to look very cute all the time.

There is lots of coloring to be done. So much coloring that you have to get help . . .

. . . lots of help.

There are many things to open, such as cards . . .

. . . and presents.

There is lots of chaos. I'm not sure what that is, but Mama said we had plenty of it.

But all the hard work is worth it, because at the end, there is cake.

I believe I like cake.

I like cake a lot.

I can't get enough of this cake!

Oh my gosh, cake is SO NUM-NUM-NUM!

Who needs water? I will eat CAKE! If it TASTES so good, I bet it will FEEL so good if I rub it all over myself.

That was a bad idea.
